The Walking Dead: Them
Maggie is seen at the beginning of the episode slumped next to a tree crying. We believe the walker that made his behind her only wishes to offer sympathy for her mood. The undead creature even appeared to be offering her a tissue. We then move on to see Daryl eating worms freshly dug from the ground. The vehicle the group is using runs out of gas and they must continue their trek to Washington DC on foot. They come upon a zombie horde in the road and attempt to get rid of them but the using the old “make them fall into a ditch” maneuver. Sasha, the sister of recently dead Tyreese uses this moment to unleash her rage on the walkers endangering herself and the group. The other members of the group begrudgingly pitch in the dispatch the zombies and they move on.
The group is seen struggling to find food and water and liken to the sober guy at the party who tries to make sure everyone stays hydrated, Glenn offers the last of his water. The entire group is then seen slumped over in defeat then they are jumped by a wild pack of dogs. With very little hesitation Sasha unloads her silenced weapon quickly dispatching the vicious pack of wild dogs. Rick then immediately begins to start gathering tinder to make a fire. At the last scene before we break we see a lone dog collar lying in the street. Shortly there after we seen Daryl venture off in search of water, he actually finds a barn in the woods and slumps down next to a tree with the barn in the distance. He reaches into his pockets and lights a cigarette then for some unknown reason snubs it out into his own hand. Something must have gotten into Daryl’s eyes likely the smoke from the cigarette as he is seen leaking from his eyeballs before the commercial break. He returns to the group only to find they have been left water along with a note saying,”from a friend” . The group refuses to drink and at the moment it begins to rain. Daryl informs them of the barn he saw when he got something in his eye and they all take refuge there.
As they sit and talk around the fire Rick tells a story of grandfather in the war and then informs the group in order to live they must all be, “The Walking Dead” . The next morning we see a walker horde was downed by fallen trees presumably from the storm. Sasha and Maggie make their way through the mess to find a spot to watch the sunset. They begin to cry and a stranger named Aaron walks up to them probably to offer tissues, but they draw their weapons on him as he asks to speak with their leader, Rick.
